The Urdu Academy of North America hosts Mah Talat Shazi Part 1
The Urdu Academy of North America hosted the Diaspora Urdu poetess, Mah Talat Shazi, who is now living in San Diego California. The event was held on August 16, 2020 via zoom. Dr. Ghazali Ansari was the MC of the program. Two compilations of her poetry have been published. Mah Talat Shazi’s ntwo poems were very popular. One was her emotional expression of the 2005 earthquake in Pakistan, the second poem was related to the terrorist attack on a school in Peshawar when dozens of students were killed.
