The Urdu Academy of North America has launched the new book of well-known diaspora Urdu writer, Ali Hasan Cementaur, Ulat Dunya Ki Sair. The event, held on January 15, 2017 at the Chandni Restaurant, Newark, CA, was presided over Dr. Khawaja Ashraf, another diaspora Urdu writer. Among those who spoke about Cementaur's work included: Dr. Khawaja Ashraf, Riaz Haq, Maryam Turab and Kausar Syed. Arshad Rashid was MC of the program.
